1853 a wrapper bearing a horizontal strip of four of the 1841 2d blue plate 4 issue lettered D.H./D.K. paying the 8d rate “Via Ostende” to Trieste, each being cancelled by the London No “7” numeral and bearing on front a “4” manuscript mark in red ink together with a red PD mark and Aachen transit mark also in red. A rare and most attractive cover.
