1876 envelope bearing a 4d vermilion plate 15 issue together with a 2½d rosy-mauve plate 4 issue paying the 6½d Registered rate to Toronto, Canada, both being tied by the “53” duplex of Bath dated for JY 25 76. This cover was probably carried by the Allen Line’s “Circassian” which reached Halifax on August 6th 1876.
