1868 an envelope addressed to London from Elgin bearing an 1858 1d rose-red plate 96 (fault at right) placed at the bottom left, being tied by the "133" duplex with a further strike in the normal "stamp position" and bearing in manuscript "Above ½ oz" together with a superb strike of the distinctive "2" handstamp of Elgin in black ink.
