1864 "Telegraphic Message" envelope with blue and white embossed type panels for sending telegraphic messages received on the wire. The panel at the bottom left hand corner has the time and the date the message was sent out and is addressed to the Telegraph Office (Lerwick) Shetland. A rare and most unusual cover. Bov#436.
