1864 an envelope addressed to Oban bearing five examples of the 1d rose-red issue from plate 87 paying the 1d postage + 4d Registered rate with the manuscript instruction at bottom right "Registered at Iona". The adhesives are cancelled on arrival by the Oban "273" duplex dated for JU 15 64, clearly showing breaks in the middle numeral due to the green tape affixed for registered mail. A very rare cover only three such covers are recorded. Bov#188
