1864 an envelope bearing an 1857 1d rose-red issue together with a pair of the 1862 6d lilac issue paying the 1/1d rate to London, Canada West, each being cancelled / tied by the “A26” numeral of Gibraltar in black ink and dated on front for JY 28 64 with alongside a “1” m/s credit mark in red crayon. The reverse of the envelope bears a London UC arrival mark for AU 20 1864. A rare and most attractive cover.
