1840 A printed wrapper headed “Weekly Return by the Steward at Thirlstane Castle” for the first week of February 1841, bearing an 1840 2d blue issue from plate 1 lettered I.E. addressed to Dunbar, being tied by the red Maltese cross of Lauder and dated on reverse for FE 17 1841. A scarce printed wrapper showing the correct 1 oz rate of the 2d blue issue.
