1857 1d pale brick red plate 27, lettered F.J. on an entire wrapper being addressed to the remote island of Lismore, being neatly tied by a superb strike of the Glasgow "The Cross" Scots Local handstamp type V in black ink and dated on reverse for JY 27 57. A scarce and most attractive cover. Bov#3
