1817 an entire wrapper from Demerara dated for 20th April 1817 addressed to Strath Aird, Isle of Skye, being rated at "1/10½" in manuscript which is made up from 8d ship letter rate + boat to Isle of Skye at "1/2" and the ½d road tax. The wrapper was privately carried to Port Glasgow and bears on front the "step type" "Port Glasgow/ Ship Letter" handstamp in black ink. A very scarce and most attractive cover. Bov#65
